Episode 01 | This is My Next Era

There's a specific kind of discomfort that doesn't have a clean name yet. It's not burnout, it's not imposter syndrome — it's the feeling you get when you look at your business, your clients, your brand, and something in you goes: this doesn't fit anymore.

In the first episode of Next Era, I'm naming what that is, why it's happening to so many high-performers right now, and what it actually costs to keep white-knuckling an identity you've already outgrown.

  • The world is moving faster than most of us have had time to integrate — and that speed has created a generation of high-performers who've evolved internally but are still performing an old version of themselves externally

  • The gap between who you've become and what you're still presenting to the world is called identity lag — and it's the most expensive thing I see people do

  • A rebrand isn't the first step. Articulation is. You have to name who you've already become before you can build anything that holds

  • The evidence of your evolution is already there — in what you've said no to, what no longer excites you, and what kind of work makes you feel like yourself versus wearing a coat that no longer fits

  • The clearer you get on the inside, the more everything on the outside starts to convert. That's not a coincidence. That's the whole thing.
